We use the most advanced TECHNOLOGY to automate all manufacturing processes from turning, through its different finishes such as polished, dyeing, enameled, CO2 laser, etc… Up to its automatic selection in the process of quality control, packaging and storage.
2/ MATERIALS
“Our specialty is the natural raw materials, such as corozo and horn.”
However, given the growing expectations regarding sustainability, we have also included Recycled raw materials in our catalog.
All raw materials are verified by tests of the main international reference laboratories and certified GRS (GLOBAL RECYCLED STANDAR).
BIODEGRADABLES
HORN
Horn of cow and buffalo, from animals of unprotected breeds and intended for food. The diversity of this material offers us a wide range of colors and stains, transparencies, streaks and shades. It is almost impossible to find two buttons identical, hence their most precious feature.
COROZO
Natural and biodegradable product, it’s the fruit of a palm tree from the Ecuadorian jungles; it is manufactured without any chemical additives and is dyed with natural anilines.
SHELL – MOP
Mother of pearl comes exclusively from shells of mollusks of unprotected species.
BONE
Ox bone material from India from animals intended for the food industry. Its natural color is very characteristic; it has a diversity of tones and shades, making the production process very complex.
COCONUT
Made from the rind of the fruit. Its dark natural color is its greatest characteristic and we add the color through a series of processes.
BIO-RESINS
Made from vegetable and mineral raw materials. Depending on the effect or texture that we want to achieve on the button, the percentage of bio-resin will range between 25-60%.
RECYCLED
Made with a percentage of material from PET (plastic waste such as containers and bottles), paper, horn powder, polyester powder, food waste, etc. We have the GRS Certificate (GLOBAL RECYCLED STANDARD) to verify the recycled content and the sustainability of each button.
POLYESTER
Plastic resin very grateful to the application of dyes, resistant to humidity and high temperatures. Always treated with environmental practices and chemical restrictions in its production.
METAL
We mainly use Zamak, this material is obtained from the alloy of various metals, always certifying its components. It is characterized by its high resistance and ease of reproducing minute details.
